In case anyone cares, here's a little bit of history on how the lovely story Beautiful Deadly Assault Unit G.E.M. got started.
Back in the 8th grade I decided that I wanted a story that had color coded characters and: voila! G.E.M. was born. So I spent the next two and a half years writing the script for it (my first attempt which is why it's so bad), then,
in March of 2005, I began drawing it as well. G.E.M. may contain any of the following: crude drawings, poor writing, pathetic attempts at humor, cliche, two dimensional-characers, and most likely a billion other things that escape my tiny brain at the moment.
I don't write it to be good, I write it to have fun. Anywho, at this point, I have 15 or so chapters completed (four years of work) so the art eventually does get better, I promise! Also, the entirety of the story is planned out; there will
be a total of 48 chapters (how many years will that take?! x.x).
I'm not sure what the update schedule will be yet, but there will be one someday. Until then, it's post as I get them up. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, so there's a good chance that there may be hiatuses. This is my first
attempt at making a comic, and my first attempt at html, so please forgive the suckiness of the site.
As for why it's written right to left, I like to say it's 'cuz I'm left-handed, but I honestly don't know why. It feels more natural I guess. Well, I hope you like the comic.
